April Eikland (RMT) graduated from the 2200hr Massage Therapy program at the Alberta Massage Training Institute. She began her career in massage therapy in 2005. Starting out in a wellness centre here in Grande Prairie, she discovered her passion for massage and holistic health. April knows the importance of continuing education. She has committed to regular upgrading in order to offer the benefits of the most current, effective treatment techniques.
Known for her slow, deep tissue treatments, April combines therapeutic healing with a calm, relaxed tone. She uses a combination of techniques including swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and soft tissue release to create a healing, stress relieving experience for every client.
April has upgraded her skills and abilities and is certified in advanced techniques, giving her the confidence as a soft tissue pain relief specialist to treat different pain patterns and conditions. She looks forward to providing an effective, targeted approach to relieve persistent pain and give longer lasting pain relief and results.
When she’s not treating, April enjoys family time, spontaneous little adventures and anything outdoors. She enjoys the beautiful trails that Grande Prairie has to offer.
